Quick answers for the things people actually ask. Can't find yours? The FAQ goes deeper, and contact reaches a human — replies usually within a day.

For clients — getting started

1. Browse free. No account needed to look. Filter by city, occasion, or virtual/in-person.
2. Sign up & pass the 18+ check. A government ID and a selfie, read by AI, with a person reviewing anything uncertain — usually cleared within 24 hours.
3. Say hello. Send a free intro request — a 24-hour chat window opens if they accept.
4. Book the date. Pick virtual (choose an activity — watch party, game night, cook-along, coffee) or in-person in an unlocked city. Pay at booking; the money is held until 24 hours after your date.

For clients — during & after a date

Virtual dates happen in our own video room — the Join button unlocks 10 minutes before start, and nothing is ever recorded. In-person first meetings happen in public places. Afterwards, the payment releases automatically 24 hours later; if something went wrong, open a dispute from your dashboard inside that window and the payout freezes.

For companions — earnings

You keep 100% of everything you set — your hourly rate, on every kind of date. Clients pay our platform fee on top of your price, so it never comes out of what you set. Everything lands in one balance in your portal, with every payment listed. Once payments open, payouts run weekly (minimum $25 balance) to your bank through our payment processor, yearly totals are reported under Canada's digital-platform rules, and you'll get a tax summary each January.

For companions — declines and cancellations

Declining costs you nothing, ever. A request is a request. You can turn one down without giving a reason, and no money moves — a booking places a hold on the client's card and declining releases it. If you want to, you can pick a short reason (“that time doesn't work”) and add a line like “Thursday would be better”. Both are optional. If someone made you uncomfortable, don't put that in a reason he reads — report them, which reaches a person.

If a client cancels a confirmed date, you keep more the later it is. More than 48 hours out you keep nothing, because you can still fill the slot. 24–48 hours, you keep 25%. Two to 24 hours, you keep half. Under two hours, or he simply doesn't turn up, you keep the whole amount. You blocked that time out and turned down other work for it, and past a certain point that is not recoverable — so the person who cancelled carries it, not you.

The same standard runs the other way. Cancelling a date you already confirmed refunds the client in full, and doing it repeatedly means removal — reliability is the job.

For companions — day to day

Accept, decline, or complete bookings from your portal. Set weekly availability chips, or flip on vacation mode to hide your profile without losing anything. Intro requests appear in your portal — accepting opens a free 24-hour chat window for the client. Never move chats, payments, or dates off the platform: protections (and your payment protection) only work here.

Safety, always

Every member completes an 18+ age check. Every message is screened. Report anything that feels off — from any profile, chat, or date room — and a human reviews it, fast. The Safety Center has the full playbook, and the Code of Conduct is the rulebook everyone agreed to.
