You have the invitation, the outfit and the seating chart, and the line that says “and guest” is still empty. A companion on Rentadeto is someone to go with: they come to the ceremony and the reception, sit with you at the table, dance if you dance, and go home at the end. It is strictly platonic, and that is the whole offer.
What happens
When you book, you write what the day is: the venue, the time, roughly how long, and anything they should know — the dress code, whose side you are on, whether you would rather they carry the conversation or let you. They read that before accepting, so they are agreeing to your day, not to an unknown afternoon.
A wedding is a longer booking than a dinner; five to eight hours is normal. If the party runs on, you extend from the booking page instead of negotiating at the table. Meet at the venue or a café nearby, not at your door. The cab and the drinks are yours to cover on the spot; the booking covers their time.
On the booking form this is an in-person date, with a plan along the lines of “A wedding, ceremony and reception, in the companion’s own city”.

How booking works
Everyone on the site passes an 18+ age check before they can message anyone. Companions write their own profiles and set their own hourly rate.
You pick a companion, a date and a length. For an in-person date you also write the plan — where, when, what you have in mind — and the companion reads it before accepting. They can decline, and you are never charged for a request they turn down.
A chat opens the moment you send the request, so the two of you can settle the details; it closes when the date is done.
First in-person meetings happen in public places — a café, a restaurant, a busy street — and either person can end any date at any time. Every message is screened, and a person reads every report.
What it costs
The price is their hourly rate times the hours you book, plus a 20% platform fee, shown as one total before you confirm — a two-hour date at $40 an hour, as an example, is $80 to the companion and $96 on your card. They keep 100% of their rate; the fee never comes out of it.
Your card is authorized when you book and charged after the date has happened. If it is declined or cancelled first, the hold is released and nothing is charged. More than 48 hours before the date, a full refund; 24 to 48 hours, 75% back; 2 to 24 hours, 50% back; inside two hours or a no-show, none. Our fee comes back in full at every step, and a companion cancelling is always a full refund.
Questions people ask
Will they pretend to be my partner?
They come as your guest, and they will be a good one. How you introduce them is up to you; most people say a friend. What they will not do is anything past the platonic line — it is the same rule at a wedding as anywhere else on the site, and both of you agree to it before the booking exists.
How long can I book for?
As long as the day needs. You book the length up front and extend from the booking page if the evening runs on. Companions set their own availability, so a full Saturday is something to ask for early.
What if they cancel the week before?
A companion cancelling, at any time, is a full refund including our fee, automatically. That does not fix your seating chart, and we know it — which is why declining a request costs a companion nothing: someone who is unsure says no at the start, not on the day.
Will they travel to the venue?
In-person dates happen in the companion’s own city, and only in cities where in-person is open. Book someone local to the venue; travel between cities is not part of a booking.
