Booking and
payment

How a booking is made, when you pay, and what it costs.

What can I book?

One thing, for now. Gaming duo: Play an online game together. You play the game and talk on Discord or in its own voice chat; the booking, chat and check-ins stay here.

Bookings are online, on a live call at the time you booked. Meeting in person isn’t available.

How do I book?

Open a companion’s profile, pick the activity, a day and time, and a length (30 min, 1 h, 1.5 h, 2 h and 3 h). Pick a start at least 30 minutes from now, so there is time to answer before check-in opens. The companion sees the request and accepts or declines; they are never obliged to take a booking.

A chat opens the moment you send the request, so you two can settle the details before they even answer. It closes when the booking is done; after a completed booking it stays open between bookings until either of you closes it or it goes 90 days quiet.

When am I charged?

Your card is authorized when you book and charged when the companion accepts. If they decline or don’t answer, you are not charged.

A request nobody answers expires 24 hours after it was made, or at its start time if that is sooner, and nothing is charged. Withdrawing a request before it is accepted is free.

Your card is handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.

What does it cost?

Each companion sets their own hourly rate, from $20 to $200 an hour, and you see it before you book. A 25% service fee is added on top and shown before you pay; companions keep 100% of their rate. From your 6th booking with the same companion, the fee is 15%: the Regulars rate. Cancelled and refunded bookings don't count. The lowest booking is $12.50 CAD for 30 minutes: the $20 hourly floor for 30 minutes is $10, plus a 25% service fee of $2.50. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

There is no membership fee. You pay for the bookings you make, and the only other extra is sales tax where the law requires it.

How is a gaming duo priced?

Today a gaming duo is booked by time: the companion’s hourly rate for the length you pick. Once credits are live, a gaming duo is booked per game from the companion’s game menu: pick a game and how many you want to play; your credits are held now, and you pay only for the games you actually play. Each companion sets a price per game, in whole dollars from $3 to $100; with the 25% service fee a game starts at $3.75, and one booking is up to 5 games.

When is the companion paid?

24 hours after the booking ends, if the check-ins show it happened: both of you tapped “I’m here” on the booking page, or you tapped “All good”. Until then the payment waits, and you can report a problem from your dashboard.
