Are credits on yet?

No. Today you pay by card, per booking: Your card is authorized when you book and charged when the companion accepts. If they decline or don’t answer, you are not charged. What follows describes credits as they will work once they are switched on; nothing here is for sale today.

What is a credit worth, and what do they pay for?

1 credit = CA$1. Bookings, tips and gifts. A companion is paid in dollars, their full rate and every tip in full, not in credits. A tip or gift carries a 15% service fee, added on top for the client; the companion receives 100% of the tip. Companions keep 100% of their rate.

Once credits are live, a gaming duo is booked per game from the companion’s menu: pick a game and how many you want to play; your credits are held now, and you pay only for the games you actually play.

How do I buy them?

By card, in Canadian dollars, any amount from $10.00, up to $500.00 a month. Short on a booking? The booking form buys exactly the credits you are short by (never less than $10.00) in the same step. Your card is handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.

Every top-up adds 3% card processing (at least $0.50), shown as its own line before you pay. This goes to the card network, not to us. It comes back if every credit of that top-up is refunded unused.

Do credits expire or carry fees?

How do tips and gifts work?

During or after a game you can send the companion a gift, from the booking page, its chat or the GG screen: GG $2, Clutch $5, MVP $10, Carry $20, or any amount from $1. A gift is a tip with a name, and separate from the booking: a refund on the booking does not undo it. A tip or gift carries a 15% service fee, added on top for the client; the companion receives 100% of the tip. Tips are limited to $500.00 a month, and the limit counts the tip, not the fee.

Can I get unused credits back?

Yes. Ask for a refund and the credits you bought and haven't used go back to the card that paid for them. Credits held for a request that is still waiting for an answer are not unused until it is declined or expires. Booking refunds come back to your wallet as credits.

What if my bank reverses a purchase?

A dispute with your card’s bank on a credits purchase puts your wallet on hold while it is open: nothing can be bought, held, spent or refunded, and the credits that purchase bought are taken back. A companion paid from a card that was new to your account, and that your bank did not confirm with its security check (3D Secure), waits 21 days for that money. Tell us first at hello@rentadeto.com: a person answers, and a refund of unused credits is one tap away.

Can I transfer credits, or cash them out?

No. Credits are not money: they cannot be sent to another member, and the one way back to dollars is the refund of unused credits to the card that paid for them.
