Companions: profile

What passes review, how you are paid, and what we never ask you for.

What does a profile need to go live?

A passed 18+ age check; your games (up to 8) with a price per game; one profile picture (an avatar, your art or a real photo; up to 6); and the 3 rules. A tagline is drafted for you; a bio, a voice intro and your hours are optional. A person reads every profile and every upload before it first goes live, usually within a day.

Before you submit, 3 rule cards, one tap each: a miss shows the rule and you tap again. About twenty seconds.

What are the photo rules?

Use a Rentadeto avatar, your own art or character, or a real photo of you. No photos of other people, no celebrities, nothing sexual, and only art you have the right to use. A real photo is you, on your own, recent and clothed, with no filters or AI edits that change your face. No text, watermarks or contact details on any picture. One that breaks a rule is sent back with the reason.

What is the voice intro?

Optional, 8 to 15 seconds, in your own voice. Your name · what you play or love to talk about · your vibe · when you're free · a friendly invite. Not just 'hello'. No music, no one else's voice, no phone numbers, handles or other apps, nothing romantic. A person listens before it goes on your profile, and anyone who can see your profile can play it. Remove it any time.

How do I set my rate?

Pick $20, $30, $40 and $50 an hour with one tap, or any whole number from $20 to $200. You keep 100% of it: the 25% service fee is added to the client’s bill on top, so a $50 hour is $50 to you and $62.50 to the client. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Once credits are live you also set a price per game for a gaming duo: set your price per game, tap Game done after each one, and you are paid for every game you marked.

When and how am I paid?

Your rate is released 24 hours after the booking ends, once the check-ins show it happened. Released earnings are paid to your bank account through Stripe every Friday once they reach $25.

Use a bank account in your own name. Yearly totals are reported under Canada’s digital-platform rules, and you get a tax summary each January.

What will Rentadeto never ask me for?

We never ask you to pay anything to join, to be approved, to be listed higher or to be paid out. Listing is free and there is no fee to withdraw.

We never ask for a gift card, an e-transfer, a crypto payment or a code from your bank. Anyone who does is not us: report them.

Payouts go only to a bank account in your own name, through Stripe. Nobody from Rentadeto will ask you to move money through another person’s account.

A client who offers to pay you more outside Rentadeto is asking you to give up every protection you have here. Decline, and report it from the chat.

Does declining cost me anything?

Nothing, ever. A request only holds the client’s card; declining releases it. You can pick a short reason and add a line, or neither. If someone made you uncomfortable, report them instead of writing it in a reason the client reads.

What earns a strike?

A no-show; ending a booking early for a reason other than safety or an emergency; and a second cancellation under 24 hours before the start within 60 days. 3 strikes in 90 days pauses your account until a person has looked. “I felt unsafe” and “The client broke the rules” carry no strike: a report opens, your pay is held until a person has read it, and you are paid in full once we have, unless what we find says otherwise. “Emergency or illness” pays the time you were there, without a strike. It counts as your one emergency in 90 days when it pays you for the time you had; a second one in 90 days goes to a person.

How do I take a break?

Set your weekly hours in the portal, or flip on vacation mode to hide your profile without losing anything. Your profile, your reviews and your earnings wait for you.

On a slow evening, turn on “Taking bookings now” in the portal: for the next 2 hours your card says “Live” on browse, and it turns itself off.
